Action-Based Cognitive Remediation (ABCR), developed by Prof. Bowie, uniquely combines principles of cognitive-behavioural therapies with cognitive training.

ABCR is a group based intervention that includes computer based training exercises, group discussion and bridging exercises to real-world tasks.  These online sessions  with Dr. Bowie will prepare participants to deliver ABCR. Follow up consultation is also available for ongoing supervision and fidelity checks.

The workshop (which was postponed from the three day offering in spring 2020) will be done online as a Zoom webinar. The sessions will include didactic components, as well as break out rooms and virtual 'hands on' exercises. While participants are strongly encouraged to attend the sessions live, if you are unable to attend any particular week, the sessions will also be recorded and available for review to registered participants.   The workshop will be carried out in 3 hour blocks on Fridays in October.    Time: 11 am to 2 pm Pacific (participants can bring brown bag lunches for the webinar) Dates: October 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th, 2020
